There are many climbing frames available on the market. They come in variety of sizes, different configurations, all types of fixing and securing methods and a number of styles. Below we have detailed several frames from Niels Larsen and US. These are the simplest units in the range, and are ideal for the low cost provision of climbing and movement activities. All Niels Larsen frames are hinged and store flat against a wall. When out they are held rigid by steel wires.

N.L. Double Frames
The two frames are connected by a rigid bar at the top of each upright. This bar also offers the possibility of attaching climbing ropes and rope ladders.

N.L. Spectrum Frame
The 'Y Hinged' frame is now one of the most popular choices of climbing frames. It offers three frames for simultaneous use in a relativily small area and and is folded away against a wall one frame in front of the others.

U.S. Super Nova Frame
The Super Nova offers an extensive variety of activities particularly suited for the National Curriculum. Fixed and swivel rings, along with a folding box ladder and a folding double ladder are included as standard. The frame comes in two heights: 10' for key stage 1 & 2 and 12' for key stage 3.

U.S. Trio Nova Frame
Fitted with the same rings and folding sections as the Super Nova (above) the Trio frame as the name suggests has an extra frame and the added benefit of inclined ladders which brace the equipment when in use. Stores flat against the wall. Each frame is 9'7" high and 6'7" wide. The frames can be arranged in a 'T' or 'Y' formation.
